With the rapid development of information technology, multimedia teaching in Teachers Colleges has been gradually popular, and it has become an important means of teaching. Whether multimedia teaching is effective or not directly affects teaching quality of Teachers' Colleges. Many factors affect the multimedia teaching, such as, the input of funds, the school teaching environment, the computer hardware and software facilities, classroom environment, the quality of multimedia courseware, student academic foundation, motivation and level of teachers in computer applying, teaching ideas and methods and so on. There have been some research papers in accordance with a lot of multimedia teaching, but few of them are from the use of effective teaching theory to study teaching, let alone to teachers. Teachers are designers of multimedia teaching, courseware developers, and teaching guides, managers and motivators. Effective teachers are the key to the effectiveness of multimedia teaching, so this research is based on the perspective of teachers, focusing on the effectiveness of multimedia teaching from six dimensions, taking some Teachers'College in Guilin as an object of study, surveying the current situation on the effectiveness of multimedia teaching of Teachers'College. Survey results show that the effectiveness of multimedia teaching is significantly low in Teachers'College. Use the theory of effective teaching and multimedia teaching and analyze teachers'reasons for the low efficiency of multimedia teaching from the perspective of teachers, which may give some advice for the teachers of Teachers'Colleges in pursuing effective multimedia teaching.This article is divided into six parts.The first part is "Preface." Including four aspects, the problem, purposes and significance of the study, literature review, research ideas and methods, which can determine the logical framework of this study.The second part is "Summary of multimedia teaching theory." Multimedia refers to the basic theories related to audio-visual education theory, education, communication theory, learning theory and system theory; illustrate the basic pattern of multi-media teaching and its advantages, dimensions of the effectiveness of multimedia teaching, and expand effectiveness of multimedia teaching research in Teachers'Colleges and define the concept for this research.The third part is "Question the present state of Teachers'Colleges-Survey Multimedia Teaching of G Teachers'College." Questionnaire design includes six dimensions, that's is to say, multimedia teaching and evaluation, instructional design and multimedia courseware quality analysis, multimedia teaching organizational analysis, articulate analysis of multimedia, interactive multimedia teaching, teachers'enthusiasm in multimedia teaching. Interview teachers and students as a supplementary questionnaire. Survey results show that a considerable number of students hold a positive attitude towards the roles of multimedia teaching, but that multimedia teaching in Teachers'College has shown advantages is not obvious, and students have a low opinion in the effectiveness of multimedia teaching, Teachers'College faces difficulties in effectiveness of multimedia teaching.The fourth part is " The low efficiency of multimedia teaching is due to teachers." from the teacher's perspective to find the reasons for the low efficiency of multimedia teaching Teachers' Colleges, there are three main reasons. First, the reason is due to teachers themselves, it presents teachers are with lack of qualities in multimedia teaching, which is the main reason; second, the poor management of multimedia teaching hinders the effective implementation of multimedia teaching; third, existing teachers'evaluation and incentive defects affect the enthusiasm of teachers in multimedia teaching, thereby affecting the effectiveness of multimedia teaching.The fifth part is " Pursue effectiveness and present some strategies to improve the effectiveness of multimedia teaching in Teachers'Colleges." Propose countermeasures in the light of reasons for the low efficiency of multimedia teaching. One is to strengthen multi-media teaching and train teachers to enhance the multimedia teaching qualities; the second is to improve the management of multi-media teaching; third is to build a scientific and rational evaluation and incentive mechanism for teachers.The sixth part is "Conclusion." This paper summarizes the research work and significance, the paper points out the shortcomings, at the same time, it presents prospect of the follow-up in the research.
