The Research Of Cultivation Of University Students' Spirit Of Moral Self-discipline

Cultivation of moral self-discipline spirit is not only a requirement of the lifelong self-education, but also an appeal of moral construction in contemporary social. As a highly stable human moral sense, moral self-discipline spirit is not self-generating but acquired. The major strategic issue of higher education in our country is about "Who are to be cultivated and how to cultivate them". The goal of ideological and political education in universities is to help university students improve their moral literacy and cultivate them to be qualified socialist builders and successors. To achieve this educational goal, we must attach importance to the cultivation of university students'moral self-discipline spirit. Therefore, this dissertation has important theoretical and practical significance. The research adopts document analysis, history and logic unity method, which also have been put into practice. Meanwhile, the moral issues exist in university students'real lives have been taken into consideration. In order to analyze the process, principles and methods of the cultivation of university students'moral self-discipline spirit, the research also takes advantage on multidisciplinary research integrating method.The focus point of this dissertation is the process, principles and methods of the cultivation of university students'moral self-discipline spirit. The difficult part is defining the cultivation of university students'moral self-discipline spirit. In addition, "moral self-discipline spirit" is a new perspective in studying the education issue, and it is the innovation in the dissertation. To analyze the basic theory, realistic foundation, process, principles and methods of cultivating university students'moral self-discipline spirit more systematically, there are some new ideas being presented in the content.The text consists of four parts.Part I:Define the moral self-discipline spirit on university students, which is the difficult part of the research. Firstly, define the meaning of moral self-discipline spirit on university students. It includes the definition of relevant concepts of "moral self-discipline spirit", "moral self-discipline spirit on university students", "cultivation of the moral self-discipline spirit on university students". Secondly, it discusses the origin and representative theory of moral self-discipline on both domestic and foreign. It contains three aspects, what are representativeness theories about moral self-discipline, Western scholars'perspective on it and the Marxist theory on it.Part II:Analyze the status of the moral self-discipline spirit on university students. In the first place, it is sure that there are some positive points in the university students'moral self-discipline spirit. Overall, the mainstream of contemporary university students is under a positive moral condition for offering the foundation on shaping spirit of moral self-discipline. Secondly, describe the performance of deviation of university students' moral self-discipline spirit. There are four aspects:1.University students' moral self-awareness is not optimistic. 2. University students'moral self-discipline emotion is apathy. 3. University students'moral self-discipline will is weak. 4. University students' moral self-discipline behavior is unstable. Last but not least, explore the causes of problems on university students'moral self-discipline spirit.Part III:Elaborate the process of nurturing the moral self-discipline spirit. This is the focal point in this article. Process of nurturing the moral self-discipline spirit is mainly refer to its formulation of the cultivation goal, choice of the cultivation content, the cultivation running, the effect appraisal and the feedback to the cultivation. First, the cultivation goal of moral self-discipline Spirit has three levels:level one, according to the moral needs of university students, their psychological development; promote university students to practice their social ethics. Level two, based on the traditional culture and education, encourage university students to develop moral self-discipline instead of moral heteronomy. Level three, integrate spirit education, develop a "prudence" way of thinking. Secondly, the content of cultivating the moral self-discipline spirit combines with social moral norm education, honor and disgrace education, the social responsibility education, the aesthetic education and the socialist ideal personality education. Third, running the moral self-discipline spirit is based on the moral self-discipline, through cognitive, emotional experience, wills control and finally into moral self-discipline acts. Last, cultivating the moral self-discipline spirit for university students also asks for the effect appraisal and the feedback.PartⅣ:the dissertation mainly discusses guide principles and concrete implementation methods in the moral self-discipline spirit cultivation on university students. This is also a focal point of the dissertation. First, the principles of cultivating moral self-discipline spirit includes the combination of moral self-discipline spirit and the university students'subjectivity, combination of moral self-discipline principle of creating both individual and group university students with self-discipline training, combination of training tools for students' moral self-discipline with the purpose of spirit moral self-discipline cultivation and university students' knowledge on the principles of unity. Secondly, university students' moral self-discipline aimed at deepening university students' understanding of moral self-discipline by training their way of thinking; changing students emotional and moral self-discipline by molding their emotion; cultivating university students' moral self-discipline wills by guiding their accomplishment; directing university moral self-discipline behavior by training their acts.
