With the quality-oriented education went deep and the new curriculum reform conducted, the requirement to teachers is raised up to a new height. Teachers should not be knowledge imparter, promoter in development in an all-around way, but also teachers in developing and improving. The effective teacher evaluation is considered as the beneficial guarantee for teacher's professional development, optimizing the troops of teachers and improving the quality of education. However, for a long time, the teacher evaluation has always appeared with some words, such as "lofty stance", "ice-cold" and "trial". It purposes to control teachers, and it doesn't bring its function into play. Go through the achievements about teacher evaluation in China and abroad, it can be found that there are so much achievement about the relationship between teacher evaluation and teacher's professional development, but they are mainly researched in the abstract, few people investigate it with the method of questionnaire survey. Thus, the conclusion always lacks of persuasion.In this paper, the writer chooses some middle schools of Yanbian as study objects, analyzes the condition of teacher evaluation and teacher's professional development by questionnaire and interviewing, finds out the problems of the teacher evaluation discusses the relationship between teacher evaluation and teacher's professional development at the same time, and offer some strategies that can be good for teacher's professional development.. The purpose of this paper is to enrich the research about teacher evaluation, and provide some references and sustain.Through research, the paper makes the following conclusions:1. The development-orientated evaluation has not been established yet. Emphasize the leaders'leading role and ignore teachers'subjective status; Students'academic performance is still the most important evaluation index, neglect teachers'individual differences on evaluation standard; Sample quantitative evaluation; Overlook the introductory and modified function of teacher evaluation.2. There is different teachers'professional developmental level in different area. Urban teachers'developmental condition is better than rural teachers'.3. Teachers'professional development appears different scene under different evaluation. If the teachers receive reasonable evaluation, their professional development will be good, if not, then their professional development will be worse.4. The evaluation consciousness have different effect on teachers of different sex, character and phases of development.In view of problems of teacher evaluation, the author proposes some opinions and suggestions:1. Adopt ideas that is teacher evaluation is to cater for teachers professional development.2. Adhered to the multi-body principle, respect teachers'dominant position.3. Strengthen communication between leaders and teachers.4. Pay attention to the difference between individuals.5.The function of feedback must be draw much more attention.
