An Investigation And Research Into The Scientific Literacy Level Of Public Physical Education In Beijing

There are 43.2% people often taking physical exercise, according to the 2008 research data in Beijing. The scientific Literacy Level of Public Physical Education impact directly on the efficiency of conditioned and the government formulation relevant policies and adjust the direction of sports.In this paper, documentation, questionnaire survey, expert interviews, comparative research methods and statistics have been used to study the status quo of Beijing community sports sites , we make out its organization and management status ,fond the main difficulties and the main factors which affecting the development of Beijing community sports sites. We have reached the following conclusions:1,67.4% people are not familiar with the sports science knowledge. The public have misunderstanding in Competitive sports and public health goals.2,More than 40% of the public affect the normal work and life due to lack of basic physical fitness.3,52.0% of the public can measure their body shape and 63.3% of the people are able to evaluate their body shape. 58.4% of the public have never in physical health checks that shows the public self-evaluation of their physical capacity are poor.4,There are 23.9% of the public take regular exercise in Beijing.5,TV is the most important channels for public accessing to sports science knowledge. It is very limited for schools in the dissemination of scientific knowledge on sports role.6,Public awareness and attitudes of sports is relatively good and pursuit of physical pleasure in the movement on the most important position7,It is very urgent for the public asking for government in public sports and fitness requirements of basic sports facilities which show strong attitude of the public Sports facilities and serveice.8,The public sex, age, educational level, income, occupation and other factors on the formation of sports science literacy have some effect.The higher education level of public is the higher of the knowledge and awareness of the better sports science and there is no obviously features on the other factors.
