Junior High School Curriculum Leadership Specialization Studies

Content:Curriculum reform of basic education in China has implemented three-rank curriculum management system, which plays different rights on the country, locality and school. The principals, as the most direct managers in the school, possess some rights and much resource, so he/she should shoulder the work of leading the school curriculum development. Curriculum leadership is a new topic for principals, so it is also a tremendous challenge for them. How to promote the ability of principals' curriculum leadership is becoming an urgent problem to resolve in the field of theories and practices of education.Fortunately, some of the principals, such as the Principal in M middle school, continue exploring the study of curriculum leadership in their schools although it's not so successful. I believe that it will be perfect on the study of the curriculum leadership under the great efforts from the research fellows and professors perseveringly.Firstly, this thesis analyzes the statement of curriculum leadership. It contains the study implications of curriculum leadership, the research profile at home and abroad and the definitions of some concept.Secondly, this thesis analyzes the specialization of curriculum leadership. It contains the problem of curriculum current, analyzes the influencing factors of curriculum leadership, the factors which influences the relationship between the headmaster and the development of curriculum leadership.Thirdly, the settlement of this problem. It contains the change of headmaster, and construction the team of curriculum lead.Finally, conclusion of this study. Although it is difficult to study the curriculum leadership, it will be successful in the future under the efforts from all of us.
