With the development of society, the incomes of our citizens today are becoming higher and higher, therefore, we can purchase more colorful products and lead richer lives, as a matter of fact, the change in consumption concept has emerged simultaneously. At present, most of the middle school students were born in single-child families so that they have the chance to get more pocket money from their parents or other family members, some of them even consume in a way that is like adults who are able to earn money. The lack of guide leads to the unreasonable consumption structure, valuing material consumption despises spirit consumption, blind consumption, following the latest fashions, etc. Such bad phenomena above make the educators or parents worried, so it's important and urgent to educate our children in how to consume in a proper way.The research is accomplished in the methods of document, questionnaire and interview, which is based on the present consumption status of middle school students. It focuses on the problems and bad influences of the unreasonable consumption of middle school students, summarizes and analyses the reasons rooted in families, individual, school and society, above all, it directs the strategies.
