Recently, the credit cards have been widely used in China. However, credit card fraud has also become a common phenomenon. There is no doubt that the credit cards, which benefit many people, have been playing a positive role in China's economy. Credit card fraud, however, cause damages to both relevant parties and regular economic order. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent and control credit card fraud in order to keep the regular economic order and to fulfill the goal of relative laws. The research carried on here is a combination of analysis of both real economy and current laws. At the same time, the existing achievements from other scholars have been given fully consideration.There are four chapters. The first chapter is the basic theory of credit cards, including the legal aspect of credit cards, the legal relationship of credit card transaction, and the characters of credit card fraud. The second chapter is on the types of credit card fraud. Here, all the credit card fraud actions will be concluded into relevant types. The third chapter includes the defects of current laws and regulations. The last chapter, which is the core of this thesis, focuses on the perfective maintenance of laws and regulations relating to the risk control of credit card fraud.
