The Research On Status Quo And Countermeasure Of Urban Community Ethnic Work In Jinan City

Urban community ethnic work is an important part of the state ethnic work. With the rapid development of economy and society and the deepening of urbanization, more and more floating population of minorities enter the urban communities, which causes the ethnic relations in urban communities becoming more complex and sensitive, and the urban community ethnic work facing a series of new challenges. How to adapt to the new situation, combine urban community administration with coordinating ethnic relations in urban communities correctly, and make the urban community residents become a peaceful living space, where the minority residents in all aspects are respected, ethnic relations are unity and harmonious, is a new task to both urban community administration and ethnic community work in a city in transition. So this paper would like to investigate and research systematically the work of community ethnic in Jinan City, summarize its experience and lessons learned, and provide ideas and suggestions to further promote the ethnic work of urban community, combining my actual work. The main content of this article has the following five parts:Chapter 1:Introduction. This chapter briefly discusses the importance of the study of urban community ethnic work. Then the domestic research situation, the research framework, research focus and research methods of this paper are introduced.Chapter 2:Overview of the ethnic work issues of urban community. Based on describing the basic theory of community administration and the ethnic work, this chapter defines the connotation and extension of urban community ethnic work, and analyzes the urban community minority status and characteristics. Then the four practice model in urban community ethnic work at present are discussed.Chapter 3:urban community work progress and measures in Jinan City. This chapter analyzes the basic situation of ethnic minorities, the institutions of the urban community ethnic work, the policy and regulations, and process and key measures of the ethnic community work in Jinan City comprehensively and systematically. Then the achievements and the experience of community ethnic work of Jinan City are summarized in brief.Chapter 4:the main problems and reasons of urban community ethnic work of Jinan City. This chapter analyzes the ethnic problems in Jinan urban community and the problems existing in urban community ethnic work, and the reasons for the problems.Chapter 5:the policy and recommendations to promote the urban community ethnic work. Based on the research above, this chapter provides five policy recommendations to promote the urban community ethnic work, such as to establish a sound ethnic network of community, to establish and improve the ethnic coordination mechanism for the city, to create a favorable policy and legal environment, to establish a community-based service and management system for floating population ethnic minorities, to play the role fully of the community ethnic organizations and professional social workers, etc.Of course, there are also some lacks, which need to be improved in the future.
