A Compared Study On Contradiction Conception Of Mao Zedong And Overdetermination Of Althusser

Contradictory theory of Marxist philosophy has always been one of the focus of attention in this era of ideological burst. scholars have expressed their opinions and made some of the contradictory theory or system of interpretation. They both advocated the theory of contradiction and differences between exchange, complement each other. The ranks of China, Mao Zedong's"On Contradiction" in the view of contradiction is not but mention, it is considered the first complete systematic exposition of the essence and core of dialectics. as a "Maoist orientation elements" Althusser quickly read of Mao Zedong's "On Contradiction", linkly wrote two contradictory theories about the article by the situation at that time and published the famous "Overdetermination".This paper is based on the three articles--Mao Zedong's "On Contradiction" and Althusser's "For Marx" in "contradiction and overdetermination" and "on the dialectical materialism". At first study Mao Zedong's theory of contradiction ; And then analyse the appropriate interpretation and elucidation which are made by Althusser through theory of Mao Zedong; and finally compare Mao and Althusse's theory the idea of contradiction . It mainly use comparative analysis further supported by the unity of logic and history, text interpretation methods, respectively investigated two thoughts historical background, theoretical origin and the main content. On this basis, from the micro Analysis it mainly focus on Some similarities and differences in terms of content; Finally, combining the new era of social development requirements, it describes the contemporary value of contradictions on the contribution of building a harmonious society, which makes my research to be comprehensive, yet biased.In summary, through the concept of Mao and Althusser overdetermination comparative study we opened a new horizon about Marxist. Both as the development of Marxism result, we see the strong influence of Western Marxism at the same time, China's ideological and theoretical factors are the presence of Western Marxism, thus it promote the dialogue and integration of Marxism. Examing the relationship we recognize that this conception is to learn from previous conflicts thinking positive elements, glimpse of Western Marxist cultural diversity and commonality, deep the understanding among civilizations, provide valuable information and reference for guiding the construction of contemporary social harmony.
