Comparative Study On The Religious Policy Of The Contemporary Socialist States

This article expounds the significance to strengthen comparative study on religious policy of the contemporary socialist states.It acknowledges the eraoverwhelming majority of the people in the world have religious faith,with the number increasing. Religion now is becoming a force to be reckoned with in modern society,and indispensable spiritual nourishment of our mankind.In the five contemporary socialist states,religion has countless ties relation with historical development and national culture. With the reform and open,and with globalization deepening,religion has developed rapidly.Though religion is acting a more important role in the social life,religious problems are impressible hot spots of polity in the contemporary socialist states.Drawn a lesson from Su Dong revulsion,religious problems can be the means and excuse of the capitalist west to carry out West peaceful evolution towards capitalism.To learn about the real state of religious development and the policy measure to deal with religious problems,as well as to sum up experience and lessons and improve the religious policy in our country, it's necessary to conduct a systematicly comparative study on the religious policy of the contemporary socialist states.This article makes comparisons of religious policy of the contemporary socialist states from four aspects,and on that basis makes reflections on measures to improve the religious policy.Specifics are as follows:firstly,religion's position and influence in recent society,including its meaning,generation,function, development and effects in modern society;secondly,the status and problems of religion in the contemporary socialist states,such as its history of development, current situation of religious belief,existing religious problems and their influence;thirdly,the policy measures on religion in the contemporary socialist states,consisting of regious ideas,the evolution of religious policy,the measures to deal with religious problems and their comparison;fourthly, the effectiveness of the religious policy in the contemporary socialist states,including evaluation of their religious policy and the suggestion to improve it. This article makes comparisons of religious policy of the contemporary socialist states in all directions,which is innovation with no precedents interiorly.This article has a variety of defect unavoidably because of the limit of acquring data and material,and my shortage in mastering the study.
