From economical angel, this article mainly analyses the relationship of these two groups: corruption and FDI, corruption and economic growth with theory and empirical evidence. Choosing the BRICs as sample countries, this essay uses temporal series analysis method, and uses the data of the last fifteen years as regression samples. About the relationship between corruption and FDI, we mainly discuss that if different types of corruption transfer the way of FDI into debt form; besides we try to find if there is some kind of relation between corruption and economic growth, through researching this phenomenon that high growth and serious corruption coexist. Empirical evidence indicates that the results turn out to be different in four countries. In Brazil and India, if corruption becomes worse, which will lower the FDI; To Russia and china, it is different. Besides, brazil and china, these two countries are fundamentally consistent with the prevailing view that corruption is the "sand" for economic growth; While in India and Russia, corruption is helpful for economic growth. |
