Almost every year after the reform in1978, some outstanding films containingXinjiang local characteristics and ethnic customs come out from Tianshan Film Studio.With the deepening of the degree of openness of Chinese cultural market, somediversification of the environment has intensified the urgency of a systematic study ofthe Xinjiang local film. In the entry point of Xinjiang local and indigenous films, thispaper firstly defines the "local" to be XINJIANG, and then carries out a systematicstudy of Xinjiang local films from the nature of the film to the status quo, folk cultureand humanities connotation, theme changes and direction of development and etc.There are lots of good Xinjiang local films. However, their dissemination isextremely limited and closed, which need to be updated to be a good means ofcommunication, i.e. a long-term website of Xinjiang local films. Xinjiang local filmsshould publicize themselves, and pay attention to the systematic of the promotionalactivities, putting away the old concept of publicity. Due to the strong ideology of theXinjiang production and production of local films, the audience formed a stereotypeof the Xinjiang local film, that is the main theme of the film, may wish to change thetraditional lofty image to be the ordinary life. Through the little living environmentand psychological changes in the performance, we can narrow the psychologicaldistance between the film characters and the audience. The language and picturesshall be combined well when making a film. The screen language can express itsartistic conception. Try to dilute the performance traces, and set the point of interestfrom the outside gradually in-depth inside.
