| Young college students are at a critical stage of physical and mental development. For music, not only they have their own needs, but also have a roughly similar aesthetic taste. However, the music aesthetic tastes of the contemporary college students are mostly in a spontaneous state, lack of proper attention and leading. In such a popular culture dominated era today, pop songs with the help of mass media penetrate into every corner of the society. However, there is the phenomenon of cohabitation in popular culture which as pop music for representative. Lack of the guidance of music aesthetic tastes, college students are not easy to identify the positive parts and the negative parts in popular culture, inevitably influenced by its negative parts.1found that the past scholars tended to focus on the investigation and description of the phenomenon of the college students' music aesthetic taste, or carry out the interpretation with a cultural sociology, aesthetics or psychology perspective, less substantive and constructive thinking and recommendations from the educational point of view, few literature concerned to guiding the music aesthetic taste of college students. I believe that the music aesthetic taste can be trained and guided. How to guide the college students having healthy and elegant musical aesthetic tastes through the ordinary college music education, is the main significance of the paper.This paper first proposed5research hypothesis:(1) There are similarities in the music aesthetic tastes and habits of college students, most of them prefer pop music.(2) The experiences of music instruments learning will largely affect the students' music preferences.(3) Gender, profession, personality, family background, academic performance and other factors are related to the music aesthetic tastes of college students.(4) College Students prefer pop music, but more eager to learn other types of music.(5) The reason why the college students like pop music is that the emotional experience it brings, pop music is not irreplaceable.Secondly, combine the qualitative and quantitative research methods, give a description of the college music education in Hangzhou; carry out a survey on the music aesthetic tastes of college students. Using detailed data, legend presents and theoretical text analysis to show the common features of the college students'music aesthetic tastes and gender, profession, personality, family background, music instruments learning experiences and other factors'affect on the music aesthetic tastes of college students.Finally, use some theories and laws of music education philosophy and music psychology, make a deep discussion and summary on the status and characteristics of the aesthetic tastes of the contemporary college students. What's more, combine the current status and problems of public music education, put forward some constructive thoughts and ideas about scientifically guiding the musical aesthetic taste of the college students to promote their healthy mind and personality development:for example, use familiar effects to cultivate healthy and noble music aesthetic tastes of college students; focus on the teaching of the contents of music works; increasing music practice courses; strengthen the folk music and multicultural music education; absorb outstanding modern and contemporary music, set up music appreciation lessons with the form of thematic lessons; learn and use domestic and foreign outstanding music education philosophy and teaching methods; combine the first class and the second class. Construction of public music education college and university students a healthy and elegant music aesthetic interest to provide some reference. I hope that this paper can provide some references about the development of college music education and the construction of the college students'healthy and elegant music aesthetic tastes. |
