Zhangke Jia, one of the most important leaders of the sixth generation of director, whose overall film style is documentary, whether his early complex love knot to the hometown or concern to the ordinary people in the city in his later life experience; or the performance of the heavy feeling of history in the past and at present are built with a documentary style. His style has strong social and cultural significance. His movie not only shows one after another current "civilian epic" ,but also let people see the trace of folk through history, understand some of the social problems which is easily ignored and think deeply.This paper analyzes all movies of Zhangke Jia by means of combining theory with practice, Multiple perspectives and single Angle and close and the methods of speculative reading text , comparison and statistical classification. In this way, it attempts to sum up the characteristic of his documentary aesthetics film tyle, the entrenchment and innovation of it It also comprehensively discussed the cause of this kind of style. Finally, the author discusses the significance of this documentary style, the existing problems and the solution to the problem.
