The Fate Of Women In The Chi Zijian

A quiet woman whose literature obtained many national prizes in the past turned up in the Chinese literary world of the 1980s. Many writers give higher praise to her. Wang Anyi said her artistic conception just as innate is much better than the others'. Su Tong said that her works make reader's heart to feel warm such as blowing spring breeze. Liu Zhenyun said she has been surpassed Xiao Hong in writing the snow and the wilderness. She is the woman writer Chi Zijian who is from Northeast of China.The novel theme of Chi Zijian is rich and the content is also in depth. Northeast local culture as a background, she describes many underlying folk characters of land northeast, digging deep meaning of the role. The unfortunate fate of the residents living in the northeast written is deep going. Chi Zijian strokes the sensitive and unfortunate life with a fresh brush. She is always full with cool and objective perspective when she writes. Chi Zijian offers local novels and women novels with a new vision for analysis.I selected the fate of female perspective among many topics of Chi Zijian in this thesis, using the method of details reading and the method of comprehensive analysis to interpret the fate of women in the works of Chi Zijian. The article is constructed as follows: providing the meaning of fate in a brief introduction, summarizing the works of Chi Zijian, finding the topics of female theoretical and practical significance. The first part I try to discover the background and the environment leading to unfortunate fate of women from the child's identity, local horizons, history following, male view, city culture and so on. The second part I focus on the fate of women to probe into the emotion, including Chi Zijian's own helplessness and reflection, sympathy with the cry of women, the original expectation of happiness, yearning for sexual harmony, urban civilization questioned and so on. The third part I explain reasons of producing so many unfortunate women from Chi Zijian's own experience, cross-cultural angle of view, and her calm way of thinking and depression in this three areas.
