| The Chinese Sentence structure "shi...de (是......的)" , which has been concerned about by the linguists, is one of the emphases and difficulties in modern Chinese teaching. Controversies about the sentence structure have never stopped because of its complexity. Meanwhile, in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, it is also an important structure in various kinds of course books, one of the emphases and difficulties for foreigners in learning Chinese.Great achievements have been made by linguists in noumenon study, which are helpful for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. However, studies about this structure are still not enough in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, especially, it is lack of specific studies for the group of people who speak Korean as their mother tongue. In this paper, previous studies about the structure are summarized in terms of noumenon study and teaching Chinese as a foreign language, a contrast has also been made between the Chinese structure and similar structures in Korean based on the previous studies. Surveys about the structure were also conducted for Korean students. With the survey results and the language materials in HSK corpus from Beijing Language and Culture University, the reasons of errors made by Korean students about the structure were analysed and summarized. Meanwhile, a set of practical teaching methods has been summarized through comprehensive thinking and studying to help a large numbers of teachers engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and volunteers who are interested in teaching foreigners Chinese to solve the relevant problems they met in teaching practice and improve their teaching methods in actual situations. This paper also provides some compiling bases about the structure for various kinds of Chinese course books for foreigners. |
