The Study On The Self-government Movement In Zhenping County In Republican Period

In 1930s,The self-government movement in ZhenPing County was an important part of Republic China Rural Construction Movement. The self-government movement of ZhenPing County was based on "self-defense, self-government, self-rich"which is"Three-Self doctrine ", established the public armed to achieve "the nationalism of ZhenPing County "; created autonomous agencies, issued a Series of self-government regulations to achieve "the democracy of ZhenPing County "; organized the production of national development, food and clothing, to achieve the "Town Livelihood of ZhenPing County . " This paper aims at the causes, theoretical basis and practice of self-government of ZhenPing County during Republic China in order to provide a useful reference for our ongoing construction of new socialist countryside.This text is divided into four parts:PartⅠ: by the analysis of the social profiles of ZhenPing County to explore the social background of ZhenPing County'self-government.PartⅡexplains the basic meaning and theoretical basis of the"Three-Self doctrine"which is the guiding principle of the self-government movement of ZhenPing County.PartⅢ, which is the most important part of the paper and discussed details of practices of autonomy in ZhengPing County at a full range of discourse. With the promotion of autonomysts, the autonomy of the County had made remarkable progresses: disappeared banditry, social stability, economic development, universal education, and happily living and working.The whole county appearances expansion transformed.PartⅣis the conclusion part . through the analysis of self-government of Zhenping County and the leaders Peng Yuting'misfortune to explain:First, reformisim will not work; Second, in a class society and under party politics, the "Beyond class ", "Beyond the political party " can only be an illusion.
