Text Research Tosuzhou Tanci "The Three Smiles" Of Xu School

Suzhou Tanci "The Three Smiles" has a great reputation of"the King of Tanci"and "Long-legged joke"."The Three Smiles"of Xu School represented by Genre singing of Xu (Yun-zhi) Tune can be called the synonym of this Long Suzhou Storytelling for Contemporary China. Its outstanding achievements have a profound and far-reaching impact in the history of literature and art. However, until now, people haven't done an academic research to its outstanding literary systematicly, comprehensively and completely yet, especially to its creative designed comedy and fun for Suzhou Tanci "The Three Smiles" of Xu School. Therefore, the intention of this thesis is to make a preliminary systematic academic inquiry for the literary and comedy of Suzhou Tanci "The Three Smiles" of"Xu School", hoping to make a mite contribution to the inheritance of this traditional classical long storytelling.The main body of this thesis is divided into four main sections: ChapterⅠreviews the evolutionary history of "The Three Smiles" story and the heritage history of Suzhou Tanci art in it, which reveals the outstanding literary achievements, the highlighting historical position and the significant value of the times of Suzhou Tanci "The Three Smiles" of Xu School, in order to make a review of this romantic legend which is ancient and modern accommodating, and meeting both refined and popular tastes as well. ChapterⅡis about the overall structure and main plot for Suzhou Tanci "The Three Smiles" of Xu School, analyzing the unique charming details of the landmark "Beauty Three Smiles" and a series of dramatic classic Sheng Dan chapter heading which led by hero and heroine, in order to analyze the whole period of the"three smiles marriage"which has delicate twists and turns. Chapter III focuses on the achievements of its role shaping, which starts from three role types which include the hero and heroine, "awkward roles" and nobody of lower classes, in order to make case analyses of the representative characters in this work. As the top priority of this thesis, Chapter IV makes two aspects of comic characters and farce-style off-chapter headings, so as to do comprehensive analysis and systematic research for the comedy and farce factors of this "Long-legged joke" which is full of amusement, joy and farce.
