Investigation On Japanese Words In Modern Chinese

There are many"loan words"from Japanese in modern Chinese, which are"new words"appearing in modern times. These"new words"are originally from the Western and translated into Japanese during the assimilation of western culture, in which Japan systematically induced western books and dictionaries, and then introduced into China.Investigation is conducted in the paper mainly for 5 aspects, i.e. 1) History of Japanese Chinese where evolvement of Chinese integration into ancient Japanese is discussed 2) Reverse-inputted Japanese where the way of its integration into Chinese is discussed and examples of Japanese in modern Chinese are listed 3) Situation of Japanese words used in modern Chinese by analysis of survey results 4) Influence of reverse-inputted Japanese on modern Chinese and 5) the reasons and characteristics of reverse-inputted Japanese which are discussed by analysis of the survey results.Survey on 27 Chinese loan words to study the application situation of these words in Mainland was performed to better understand the application and trend of the loan words of Japan origin. The survey results were analyzed for the familiarity of Chinese people to the loan words and characteristics of people who know the words were analyzed.Language has a close relationship with society and culture and its evolvement depends on the national economy and culture. Japanese cartoon and animation become popular in China as well as around the world by internet, thereby creating popular words which place a big influence on Chinese youngsters in the present age.Products all around world enter into China due to the Rapid development of informatics in China and"economic globalization", communications are increasingly hold globally and new things are easier to be accepted by people born in 1980s and 1990s who have very different aesthetics and values with the eldership. Survey indicates high school studies of more than 50% learn news and events by internet as alternative of traditional media such as TV, newspapers and etc. Openness and freeness of internet break the limit of the space, making it possible that people around a county as well as the world are able to communicate each other by the internet and the cyber words a phenomenon of social culture. The so-called"cyber popular word"is that born from internet and also used/popular in the real daily life. The Chinese cyber popular words mainly come from Japan, bringing a new situation of modern Chinese words.
