Peer relationships has an important role for children's social adjustment and personality, Anna Freud's studies found that six orphans who lost their familise in World War II developed a similar patterns to attachment in parent-child relationship, furthermore they grown up healthily.When the children in the face of terror or a strange environment, the companions played the same role with their parents and eliminated the tension. It shows that peer relationships play an important role for the psychological development of children. This study can solve problem of the education for orphans in the practical work meanwhile provide guidance on theory and practice for orphans'peer relations.This study used qualitative research method. We observed and interviewed three school-age children of welfare and related welfare staff. Through the induction and analysis of the data we reached the following conclusions:1. We found that there were some common traits while some unique traits in the schooo-age welfare organs'peer relationship.(1) The common traits:The first one was they had strong interpersonal communication motives while they had heaviy defensiveness; the second one was they were shy away from classmates; the third one was the way of communicate was little; the last one was the srategy was little.(2) Anique trait:Xiao-yue exhibited aggressive behaviors under certain circumstances; Xiao-yu was the frequent victims of bullies; Wen-wen was unpopular and isolated in the larger peer group but may still have friends.2. Welfare Orphans had a strong motivation to communicate, but at the same time they had a peer rejection. The way of peer communication is simple. Their communication strategies are less.3. The research showed that 3 factors influenced Peer relations of welfare orphans: (1) Welfare environment:the welfare of showing more of its public service functions, and its mode of mass conservation, strict management of closed-end level of socialization of children, welfare of children should be with the outside world to achieve full exchange and communication in order to improve their peer interaction skills.(2) Social factors:the general public on the welfare of children is worthy of love, but pay attention to the forms and methods, for the welfare of orphans, they need more care and sincerely a lasting exchange of formal care and given material will only make them feel false and charity, they will migrate to other such emotional interpersonal situation, in peer interaction in psychology with a strong defense, thus affecting the quality of peer relationships.(3) Own experience:orphans accident early family environment and foster families of orphans abandoned to the young minds the experience of bringing a major trauma, attachment security is difficult to form in the body of orphans. Children in peer interaction are difficult to build trust and reliance.
