The Population Research Of Chinese Study Field In The Period Of The Republic Of China

Based on deep collection and organization of the articles from The Eastern Miscellany in the Period of ROC, the articles are concluded and commented in the thesis according to the theme of population research. The thesis aims at true display of the population research in the Period of ROC objectively and completely. Meanwhile some personal ideas are proposed. The thesis is divided into five parts:In introduction the state of the related learning research is reviewed and its disadvantages are pointed out. The next part is an explanation about the purpose and meaning of the thesis in detail.Population theory research is discussed in the first chapter. Beginning with three aspects of the problems on the birth-control, the quality and quantity of the population, and the immigrant, articles on Chinese population problems from The Eastern Miscellany are classified and commented completely to reveal the multiple levels of Chinese population research which was paid wide-spread attention in the Period of ROC.The third chapter comes to the research on population calculation survey. In this part, the articles on Chinese population calculation in old and modern times from The Eastern Miscellany are analyzed. The achievement in practice and the improvement in theory of population calculation survey in the Period of ROC are displayed.The population research in other countries and the whole world is discussed in the fourth chapter. The first part introduces articles on population states in other countries from The Eastern Miscellany. The most important introduction is on population in Japan whose research articles are the most. The articles on population problems and developing trend in the world are also introduced. Through analysis and interpretation on articles, the results of Chinese research on population of other countries and the whole world in the Period of ROC are to be revealed.
