| Song-and-dance Duet, as an existing form of human life and cultural activity, is not only the component of Chinese traditional arts but also the treasure of folk arts of Talking and Singing drama combined with regionalism and song and dance. Song-and-dance Duet has been developing and received popularity among Chinese people in its history of over 200 years. Current studies regarding Song-and-dance Duet is mostly on its history and form of expression. Then, why does Song-and-dance Duet come into existence? Why is it so attractive?This article applies methods of sociology, arts, dialectic analysis, axiology and systemism to fathom the cause of occurrence of Song-and-dance Duet from psychoanalytic esthetical perspective and attempts to find the original meaning from its spiritual culture in order to discover its real enchantment while reflecting the future of Song-and-dance from psychoanalytic esthetical perspective. Therefore, the theoretical study of Song-and-dance Duet is deepened and supplemented.
