Never-ending Cultural Concerns

From the perspective of cultural philosophy, this thesis summarizes the history about the desire and digestion of Utopian. Based on it, the author analyzes and demonstrates the essence, basis of existence-survival and cultural values of Utopia and the theoretical aim is to rebuild the reconstruction of Utopia in contemporary era. In light of this thesis, Utopia is the ultimate concern for value of life and its essence is a kind of critical spirit based on reality and beyond it. The basis of existence-survival of Utopia lies in the conflicts between the reality and ideal of human, between finiteness and infiniteness. For the survival of human being, Utopia that is the fundamentality of people and cultural has important cultural value. If dispel Utopia, the simplification of society, relativism and nihilism will come out. At the present age, reconstruction of Utopia is the inevitable choice of theory and reality.
