The Study On The Qizi-Selected Poems Of Shen Deqian

The Qizi-Selected Poems was compiled by Shen Deqian in his old age when he managed the Tzeyang academy in his hometown. It contains 780 poetry works, 14 volumes, two volumes one person, which is"QiZi"'s earlier work."QiZi"'s pecifically refers to Wang Chang, Wang Mengsheng, Qian Daxin, Wu Tailai, Cao Renhu, Zhao Wenzhe, Huang Wenlian. and they are all Shen Deqian's students. Shen Deqian, as an important poet and the poetics in intermediate stage of Qing dynasty, was a master leading poetic circles after Wang Shizhen. In his life, he had compiled many poetry anthologies and Qizi-Selected Poems is an important one. Because the works, which was in mature time of his academic thought, was published in Shen Deqian's old age including all"Qizi"'s earlier work. So to research Qizi-Selected Poems is very valu- able.This thesis includes five major parts. The purpose of the introduction is to summarize the study about Shen Deqian and"Wuzhong-Qizi". The main text is to research the Qizi-Selected Poems having five parts. The frist part is about the edition of Qizi-Selected Poems. I want to have preliminary understanding the wook by analysing. The second part is about the reasons of Shen Deqian compiling the Qizi-Selected Poems. Iwill make a trifle discussion on friends-making for"Qizi"'s Early Years in the third part, ,and wish to have more understanding to the origins of title for Qizi-Selected Poems. The fourth part is about the Poetry's Subject material and artistic style of Qizi-Selected Poems. In the last part, I will discuss the influences of Qizi-Selected poems at that time.In a word, from basing on researching of Qizi-Selected Poems, the thesis mainly discusses several relations, such as relations between Shen Deqian and Qizi-Selected Poems, relations between Qizi-Selected Poems and"Wuzhong-Qizi", relations between"Wuzhong-Qizi"and Shen Deqian; as well as relations to the poetic world in the mid- Qing Dynasty. It had an important influence on fully understanding the characters, and defined clearly the relations between characters and events.
