Traditional Chinese culture spread in the Ideological Origins of respecting elderly. the initial "lao," means the older, and old age. with the development and evolution of language, the expansion of extension, increasing their meanings, from its basic meaning of "agebig" "on long "arising out of direct transfer of the"lao "," often "," long "," original "," death "," very "and so on. the old can produce affixes as in Chinese. many with features, and different mix of functions will produce different semantic color. Adopted from the Chinese "lao" and its semantic meaning , comparative analysis of "lao" word of different meaning dimensions under translation, can be obtained in different social environment, natural environment, social situations, communication objects, the literal translation, Photo Gallery color method can be used to avoid the loss of semantics.
