War has a great influence on the existence and development of human society and it is the highest form of political struggle. When the productivity has developed to a certain level, the history will be transformed its nature by the political revolution then step into a higher form. The ultimate way of this kind of political revolution is completed through the war. From the period of Neolithic, agriculture has become the foundation of social economy. Crop farming and animal husbandry are both main branches of agriculture, and their proportion, layout and combination mode constitute the core of structure of agriculture production. The structure of agriculture production is an important representative of their local's and has an influential impact on the development of the economy and politics. Agriculture Nations exist in the fixed agriculture economy and the city's civilization which are affluent in material and conservative in minds; while Nomadic Nations exist in mobile nomadic economy and tribalism who lead a tough life and empower them courage. Therefore, the conflicts between them will frequently happen after their civilization has formed.The subject of the study is the ancient Chinese war in the view of the agriculture and animal husbandry. It will focus on wars between the Agriculture Nations and the Nomadic Nations in Qin and Han dynasty, Sui and Tang dynasty and the Song and Yuan dynasty—Qinhan and the Hun, Suitang and the Turkic, Mongol and Central Plain people. The study will demonstrate from the backgrounds, general situations, comparison of their wars, their policies and cooking cultures e.g. concerning the three history moments.It is concluded that Agriculture Nations and Nomadic Nations not only contradict and conflict each other but also communicate and synthesis at the same time. Weapons, cooking cultures are the objective factors affecting the ancient Chinese wars, while the agriculture economy and nomadic economy are the subjective factors. It is also found that block with Qinling Mountain, noodles and rice, agriculture and animal husbandry, these three factors are the answers of why the invaded nations are Nomadic Nation coming from the Northern area in the Chinese history. The final conclusions from this research are that crop farming as the basis of an affluent nation, animal husbandry as a way of cultivating strong military army, and adjusting the structures of agriculture and production is the basic guarantee of making a country rich and building up its military might.
