Nanbuxinshu is one kind of fiction of sketches which was wrote by Qian Yi(é'±æ˜“)in the early time of Song Dynasty, This book mainly describes the things of the Tang Dynasty. In this thesis, the most important work is researching the vocabulary in it, for instance, we discuss about some new-invented words. As any edition of this book isn't good enough, even the version published by zhonghua Book Company is full of mistakes, we make a textual research at first. This paper is composed with following chapters:In the first chapter, based on our research, we appraise the several common editions, talk about the origins of items in Nanbuxinshu, and then show our opinion about the order and author, we believe that there are still some remains of the origin order, and moreover, neither the scholarship nor the attitude of the author is not very well. The second chapter focus on Chinese linguistics Philology, we survey it about this first, and then analyze the causes of the queries in Nanbuxinshu which which are similar in glyph or pronunciation. We make a description about features of vocabulary in the third chapter, including style feature, special vocabulary phenomenon, and the use of language artifices. The last chapter is about vocabulary meaning, first we explain some vocabularies, then discuss the commentate of some vocabularies in Hanyudacidian, in the end we try to put forward some new-invented words.
