The "original" Multi-angle Study

This article focus modern Chinese "yuanlai"(原来)as the object of study. We take the methods that combined the form and the meaning, synchronic and diachronic, the statistics and the analysis to do a detailed study. Draw on the basis of previous studies exploring and analyzing the "yuanlai"(原来)expressed by the semantic, syntactic, pragmatic features and syntax of the process.Paper is divided into five chapters, the specific content of roughly as follows:The first chapter is an introduction, describes the purpose and significance of this study, research ideas and methods, summary of previous related research and describes the sources of this article corpus.From chapterⅡto chapterⅢhas a detailed analysis of functions and features of "yuanlai" (原来1)and "yuanlai" (原来2). It is mainly in the level of the total time from semantic, syntactic and pragmatic perspective.The second chapter, for the first, starting from the syntactic features, gives a defined standard of the "yuanlai"(原来1), and distinguish of the time adverb; Secondly, it explains syntactic features of the "yuanlai" (原来1)from "yuanlai"(原来1)choice of the various parts of speech and the "yuanlai"(原来1)。f the syntactic position. That is, "yuanlai"(原来1)can be along with verbs, adjectives, adverbs and so on to express different meanings, and its syntactic position is also quite diverse, it can be used as subject, object, attribute, adverbial. Furthermore, we describe the semantics of "yuanlai"(原来1)through a dictionary, summarize the semantic background of the "yuanlai"(原来1)and produce the semantic features, and then we study the pragmatics from the "yuanlai"(原来1)and discovered it has grammatical function of convergence, the topic, the alleged function.The third chapter, first defined a adverb standard of the "yuanlai"(原来2), and distinguished from a series of confusing parts of speech such as conjunctions, modal, time nouns, adverbs of time by comparing, and then, starting from the semantic to study the semantic feature of the "yuanlai"(原来2), finally, in term of pragmatic functions, the "yuanlai"(原来2)as an adverb, it has the pragmatic function with presentation, evaluation, emphasis, specify the default and other chapter functions,such as connections, corrections, explanations.ChapterⅣexamine mainly from the last level of "meta", "to" and "yuanlai" (原 来)syntax of the process, key to clarify the "yuanlai',(原来)in ancient times by the time noun into an adverb grammar step by step process, and show us a fact the two both co-existed in today's society. Secondly, I explained the motives and mechanisms of grammaticalization for the "yuanlai"(原来).The motivation of the grammaticalization is mainly in the changes of the location and the pragmatic. The Mechanism of the grammaticalization is Metaphor and semantic generalization.Chapter V, through the discovery of the grammaticalization process, and some example that has a similar development path with "yuanlai"(原来),we can get the evolution of these terms. That is, how these words developed from the polysemy to the homophone.Finally, it is the conclusion part of the contents, we generalize and summarize the article, and the pointed the inadequate.
