What is related to me is a short discourse usually used in daily life, as well as in the school life. Actually, this sentence not only can be viewed as an educational phenomenon on account that the essence behind this daily language is the relationship between the others and the I, but also can reveal the egocentric phenomenon. It is the possibility that the ego-centric phenomenon brings which can lead the growth of the independent, rational, autonomous moral candidates. But the ego is troubled in the modern society, in which the ego is used to exert the instrumental rationality and his life is over-commercialized. This situation prevents the ego to be a moral agency. How can moral education face the predicament brought by the ego who merely admits that reason is the only one factor that can determine whether to do the moral deeds or not? How to educate the ego to be a good person who lives a moral life? Moral education can learn from Levinas how to approach the Other, how to ethically meet the Other. Thus the alone ego can step out of his or her narrow world.
