About twenty years ago, Alvin Toffler predicted in his book The Third Wave that after agricultural revolution and industrial revolution, the human being would meet the third wave—information revolution. The prediction has come true, now we are in the process of information revolution, in which the advent and development of internet is the most significant symbol. Along with the development of science and technology, the internet becomes more and more popular in China, and it has turned into a substantial media of information exchange and entertainment in our daily life. Various network phenomena emerged in endlessly which inflected the human being's living conditions and mental states. By studying these phenomena, we can further understand the mindset, requirements and behavior patterns of human beings.Language is a substantial way of communication. As the most popular means of communication on the internet, the net-language draws on and on the lasting attention of relevant experts. As an active branch of net-language, the network popular language are holding the characters of wide reaching range, high spreading frequency and extending impacts in possession. In the last few years, quite a few sensational news events laid the foundation stone of the network popular language, which can be understood as a whole new trend in the developing process. A thorough study of these phrases or sentences aims at the inquiries of social factual circumstances, psychological status of people and the transforming of the era. The in-hand paper analyses their ways of originating and radiating on the basis of enumerating the network popular language. From all social, cultural and individual perspectives, it offers several possible motivations of their existence and expanding, ending up with a presentation of the impacts of the network popular language.
