A Study On The Noun In Zhan Guo Ce

Zhan Guo Ce is a history book narrated stories of different countries' fightings of various foreign policies in the period of Warring States. It can basically reflects the true face of that period's Chinese. It is the valuable materials for researching the history of Chinese grammar. This article focus on analysing the noun's grammatical features, in order to provide valuable materials for further researching of the Chinese grammar's history. The full text consists of the following components:Chapter one:Introduce the writer, the content, the edition, and the state of the field. And then briefly talk about the researching method and the advance-phrase preparation of this article.Chapter two:Discuss the internal sorting of the nouns. The internal sorting of the nouns refers to the classification of subcategory. This classification can do in semantic, in function or in both of them. According to the differences of the semantic, this article divides the nouns into five groups:concrete noun, abstract noun, proper noun, noun of time, and positionswort.Chapter three:Discuss the grammatical function of the nouns. Word's ' grammatical function has the significance of two aspects:one is the word's syntactic function, the other is the word's grammatical feature. Noun's syntactic function has great diversity, and can be used in different positions. However, there may be some differences in using frequency. Noun has great combination ability with other lexical categories. It can be modified by nouns, verbs, adjectives and numerals.
