| Currently, the construction of Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Region has been a national strategy, however it's still at the beginning of development, and it is imperfect in sharing and utilization of resources and many other aspects. Therefore, making the in-depth analysis of developments in the area of urbanization, specifying the path of urban agglomeration development, and proposing the guidance and the specific strategies for the development do have positive theoretical and practical significance in enriching the research of ecological economic region and promoting the scientific development of urban agglomeration in Jiangxi Province.Based on the theories of gravity, the geographic relations and urban spatial expansion of dynamical systems, the paper employs methods of multivariate statistical analysis and spatial autocorrelation analysis to analyzes the changes of urbanization space composition and its characteristics of city cluster surrounding Poyang Lake from single index method and composite indexes method, and makes further analysis of its urbanization drive mechanism. From the analysis of urbanization space composition, it finds that the whole level of its urbanization growth accelerates in east and the growth rate in east area of city cluster surrounding Poyang Lake is higher than its in west area. Meanwhile, the level of urbanization growth in center is higher the surrounding area, but the growth of surrounding area accelerates more quickly than the center. From the analysis of the drive mechanism of the urbanization, it finds that the scale of urban population and economy development are still the main power to promote its urbanization, but the extroversion of economy and utilization of investment are expected to become the driving power that can't be neglected. Moreover, the changes of industrial structure and the improving of the city living environment are becoming more and more important in measuring the comprehensive development level of urbanization. |
