Research On Pottery Sculptures Excavated In Henan Province Of Han Dynasty

Han dynasty is in the social reformation.The funeral system inherits the funerary objects system of Qin dynasty,and is developed under the influence of the funeral concept-"serve the death as life".This funeral system not only satisfy the master's acquisitiveness of the tomb,but still conforms to the requirements of social advocate "simple funeral " at that time.As a very important kind of funerary objects made by ceramic,animal shape is found all over the Henan province.This paper includes 105 seat of han dynasty tombs that contant animal sculptures which can be divided into three types of poultry-and-livestock,wild and God beast. These pottery model not only represents the han dynasty new bury common ideas, the progress of human idea and the huge transformation of social system,and simulates the substance at living situations. While this paper have researched on the basis of art archaeological method and revealed the time and space distribution feature of pottery sculpures of Han daynast in Henan province.From the study concludes its development experienced three periods,budding in the early and middle of west Han dynasty,development period from middle west Han to early east Han dynasty,and boom from middle to late east Han dynasty. In style,the features of small number,varieties single,distribution area small,And obviously inherited the qin dynasty art style characteristics,changed to huge number,theme range widely,Production process maturity,and Type diversified gradually.In developing showed a strong social and natural life breath,which enriched the contents and innovation the function.As a result,researching the tomb warriors of animals and analysing the reason of its large number,may help to study the Production level,Life custom,Aesthetic appeal,Funeral system of Han dynasty.It also played a important role to help us understanding Ideological and cultural connotation of han dynasty.
