Archaeological Exploration Of Henan Tomb Unearthed Pottery Warehouse Floor

During the Han dynasty a lot of pottery models of storage buildings unearthed in Henan. According to the research of pottery models of storage buildings, we can learn the society and economy, burial customs and ideology of the Han dynasty.The article researches and probes into the following questions based on the archeological material and documents.Firstly the article collects and introduces the relative archaeological material of pottery models of storage buildings unearthed in Henan. Based on their different architectural forms, they are divided into different types and periods of the development. We think that the pottery models of storage buildings appeared at the middle area of Henan in the late period of the Western Han dynasty. During the early Eastern Han period, the amount and kinds of the pottery models of storage buildings increased. In the middle period of the Eastern Han dynasty, the pottery models of storage buildings further developed. They declined in the late period of the Eastern Han dynasty.Secondly the article analyzes the pottery models of storage buildings of different areas of Henan province and think the main form of the pottery models of storage buildings is green-glazed two-story building in the western and eastern Henan areas. Those pottery models in the northern Henan area unearthed in Jiaozuo city and the pottery models of storage buildings with yard and bridge are characteristic. Most of those pottery models of storage buildings in the middle and southeastern Henan areas are grey two-story building.Thirdly the article compares the pottery models of storage buildings in Henan with the ones in the other provinces and thinks the storage buildings in Henan should belong to the system of pottery of the North.At last the article probes into the causes of the appearance and disappearance of them, the characters of the storage buildings unearthed in Jiaozuo city.
