Danny Boyle, who was born in Manchester, England, on October,20th,1956, was known as the most famous film director by his black humor comedy "Shallow Grave" and "Trainspotting". In 2009, he was rewarded a wide praise in the world by his representative movie "Slumdog Millionaire". In 2011, his latest film 127 Hours won the 83rd Annual Academy Awards for best picture, best actor, best film editing, best music-score and best music-song nomination.In this paper, the analysis focuses on four aspects of a three-dimensional image. They are:black characters, ideological significance of his film,audio-visual presentation and the theme of the cultural value. The study especially puts emphasizes on the prevalence of Boyle black comedy. On the aspect of creating characters, he describes three types of people, including marginal, nonentity and the middle class and analyzes the root of the black humor. When it comes to ideological meaning, Boyle's movie themes involve social significance, life significance and fatalism significance. The movie concerns about the development of urban civilization of modern society and young people's mental state; reveals the human nature; examines non-mainstream culture, social system as well as the interpretation of fatalism. In the narrative, he enhances the depth of the film's thought and increases the social values through black humor; In the audio-visual presentation, he visually shows effect of black comedy in the film, through the absurd interpretation of the human voice, diversified music, smooth and fast space-time cross-clips and parallel sound clips, and highly expressive lens, etc.After analysis and research above, we can learn that Boyle film's position and influence of world cinema films in the history by his unique aesthetic principles. In conclusion, Boyle is a film director who has social responsibility; his works are full of humanity and society Philosophy. At the same time, he is also director who has a strong personal characteristic. His work is full of unique style and innovation. He has an indispensable contribution for the British film industry and the global film industry.
