Application Of CLay Brick In The Contemporary Interior Design

Under the Contemporary China social environment, fast development of economy, the large-scale urban expansion, and the real estate has become the focuses of the Chinese economic development in recent years. The entire China has been under construction works. Massive public buildings and the residential buildings are being built massively. This rapid development must have the massive industrialization production material supplied, but the massive industrialization product makes the people to feel monotonous, indifferent, the deficient interest. The clay brick can be produced in enormous quantities to satisfy the quantity demand. Also because of it combines three elements:earth, the water, and the fire, the clay brick can moderately relax people's anxious and constrain mood. Thus it has become essential and unique in the contemporary interior design.This article induces and reorganizes the most commonly used clay brick type in the current market. Then it analyzes the factors of clay brick application in contemporary interior design such like splicing way, skin texture, spatial shape, light color etc. And author analyzes own participation of the clay brick in the interior design as actual application case study, and attempts to discover the limitation of the application of the Clay brick in the contemporary interior design, and explores the new ideas in the interior design application.
