Chuang Tzu and DuFu lived in two dynasties separated with each other for over one thousand years. Since their culture contributions, thoughts, characteristics and living styles are different, they are regarded as"people in different roads"by generally. However, it is not difficult to find that the related materials in the Dufu's poetry are extremely rich after relevant reading, and then due to the deep exploration, which leads people to consider the mental connection between them.Started with the analysis and specification of words,paraphrases and allusions, this paper presents the general connection situations between the poetry of Du Fu and Chuang Tzu.And then it reviews the"shadow"reflected from Dufu's political thought, social ideality, cultural characteristic and living style in great details under the specific situation of mutual supplement between the Confucianism and Taoism . Finally,it explores the inner connection between Du Fu's characteristic and Chuang Tsu's.The paper concludes with the necessary expressions of the most important thought in Dufu's poetry assimilated from Chuang Tsu which centered with the Equality of things, Peripateticism and Taoism. The acknowledgement of Du Fu's thought based on Confucianism and the exploration of Du Fu's thought and characteristic under the situation of mutual supplement between Confucianism and Taoism are important links in overwhelming understanding and recognize f Du Fu's cognize and thought structure .To make the paper more stable and reliable,it analyzes the words and allusions in great details and tries to explore the inner sprite based on the analysis of external tangible stata gradually.
