Network Interface Graphics The Semantics Ideal Convey

In the Digital Age, Network World has become a necessary part of people's life. As a new member of Network World, graphic symbol is undertaking the heavy task of semantic conveying with characters together. And better than characters, graphic symbols are more visual impacting and can arouse more users'attention. So, no matter for the graphic symbols have existed or would appear, it has guiding significance of studying the communication states and rules of graphic symbols'semantic in Network World interfaces. The content of communication is one of the important theories in Semeiology. With the thread of communication's conditions, the states of communication are studied by investigating browsers and websites'interfaces. Firstly, commencing on the characters of information communication in the Digital Age, the dissertation found out the new existing environment of graphic symbols, and mainly studied the symbolic nature and development course in network interfaces. Then, the second condition, the expressed semantic and language structure rules when communication are studied. The graphic symbols in network interfaces are divided into two types here, explicit and hidden. And the connection in semantic, manifestation and color is analyzed in the view of Semeiology. Based on these, the rules of graphic symbols'semantic and language structures are educed. Finally, the corresponding analysis of the third communication condition is carried out, and the author's expectation about semantic communication of graphic symbols is expressed.
