Chinese Herbs Poetry In Tang And Song Dynasty

Chinese Herbs Poetry is one kind of the multi-style poetry in China. Its distinguishing feature is that many names of Chinese herbs are used in every verse. It appeared as early as Nan Dynasty,and developed in Tang Dynasty,then,enjoyed much popularity in Song Dynasty.As a supplement of Traditional Poetry,the development of Chinese Herbs Poetry could show colorful life of the ancient poets and social culture of that time. Therefore,we should not negate it only because of its entertaining and gameplay. This paper takes Chinese Herbs Poetry as the research object, and focuses on the four angles of ontology, origin, creation theory and the influence.In this framework,the following respects are studyed:(1)the characteristics,(2)how does the name of Chinese herbs embed in verse,(3)the reason of its appearance,(4)the new features in Tang and Song Dynasty.Fellow questions are also researched:(1)the special status of Chinese Herbs Poetry,(2)the famous poets in this field,whose name is Pi, Lu and Chen Ya,(3).the later influence.The purpose of this paper is to reproduce the appearance and development of Chinese Herbs Poetry, show diversification of writing style and life of ancient poets.
