This paper explores village fictions published in the 21st Century and use sociological criticism and theory of ecology as the main method of with text reading method. This paper seeks the value of rural works from the narrative strategy. This paper from the village's internal narrative, the city narrative and identity narrative of the person discusses the unique contribution of short rural works in the new century.This paper is divided into three parts and each part follows:The first part is the introduction that speaks current research situation of country narrative. The first chapter speaks rural life: the power of village, the escape of traditional life and the ecological deterioration to reveal the "disorder" landscape. The second chapter speaks the recognition of urban civilization, the narrative of country's underlying Coolie and physical narrative to reveal the underlying living of rural people in the urban. The third chapter speaks escaping the land and villages, status anxiety of the older and younger to reveal identity as invisible man. The third part is conclusion that speaks achievement of village fictions.This paper speaks the depth and value of village fictions and I hope researchers and readers can value village fictions of the 21st Century.
