On The Application Of Intertextuality Writing Techniques In Metafiction Snow White

As the subversion of Grimm's fairy tale, the metafiction Snow White is the masterpiece of Donald Barthelme who is considered as one of the most representative postmodernism writers. Conclusion is the third part, chapter IV is the summary of this thesis, emphasizing the characteristics of the postmodernism novelist Donald Barthelme's writing and his practical significances. In Donald Barthelme's writing, the fairy tale has been mocked, however, with the help of postmodernism writing techniques; Donald Barthelme gives a fresh face and significance to the old story. The elements of postmodernism are the vivid reflections of the human being's life status and the mental outlook in the 1960s in American.
