Study On The Chemical Constituents Of Fibraurea Recisa Pierre

Fibraurea recisa Pierre belongs to Menispermaceae. The rattan stem has been commonlyused for the treatment of skin diseases, including various tinea, cutises itching, skin ulcer, bythe native minority people. Previous pharmacological studies show that Fibraurea recisaPierre has great anifungal activity, and its main active constituents is alkaloids, such aspalmatine and jatrorrhizine. The traditional study on constituents of Fibraurea recisa pierremainly focus on palmatine and jatrorrhizine.The main aim of study is to study the constituentsof Fibraurea recisa Pierre, include liposoluble ones. Extracted the chemical constituents ofFibraurea recisa Pierre with classical way, the raw constituents were submitted to columnchromatography on silica gel, alumina and LH-20for isolating their compounds. Theirstructures were elucidated based on the physicochemical property and spectrum analysis.Finally, better to know the chemical constituents of ethical herbs, provides preliminaryscientific theory validation for the study on Fibraurea recisa Pierre.The results of this study as below:1. Eight compounds were get from this plant, and four of them were elucidated aspalmatine, jatrorrhizine, columbin, coniferaldehyde; both palmatine and jatrorrhizine belongto isoquinoline alkaloid; columbin is lactones.2. Isolate the chemical constituents of this herbs is more difficult contributed to thestructures of palmatine and jatrorrhizine is very similar with each other, compared with theways of reparating, such as column chromatography on ordinary silica gel, basic alumina,Sephdex LH-20and Sephasil C-18. The results show that basic alumina chromatographycolumn is the best, both LH-20and Sephasil C-18RPC (Reversed phase chromatography) arebetter than ordinary silica.3. The way, column chromatography on LH-20with elutriant of chloroform: methanol(v/v＝1:1) is a good method for isolating quaternary ammonium salty alkaloids.
