Fumonisin B1is one of mycotoxins produced by Fusarium verticillioides, whichmainly found in corn and related products. Many reports indicated that animals fedwith foods contaminated with fumonisin B1would lead to serious intoxicate symptom, such as leukoencephalomalacia in horses, pulmonary oedema. Moreover, there aresome evidence showed that FB1associated with human esophageal cancer. FumonisinB1has toxic effects on human and animals, and it has been classified in Group2B bythe International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).In order to establish a rapid method for detection of FB1in foods, FB1wasconjugated with BSA and KLH proteins by GA method. Then FB1-BSA conjugate andFB1-KLH can be obtained. The hybridoma cell lines were obtained by fusing murineSp2/0cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice which were immunized withFB1-BSA conjugate.Three hybridoma cell lines excreting monoclonal antibodiesagainst fumonisinB1coded4G5,2E6,11F11were obtained successful. After identification of3hybridoma cell lines, the results show that the subtype of4G5,2E6,11F11hybridoma cell lines were IgG2b, IgM, IgM respectively. Themonoclonal antibody exceted by three hybridoma cell lines were all highly specific tofumonisinB1, and there is no cross reactions between fumonisinB1and carrier protein. The monoclonal antibody against fumonisin B1exceted by4G5hybridoma cell washighly specific to fumonisin B1. The titer of cell culture supernatant of Threehybridoma cell lines were1:256,1:128,1:128respectively.
