Part1A study on the association of the SUMO4gene163A/G polymophism with prediabetes and type2diabetes in Lin-cang Va peopleObjective To investigate the association of SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism with prediabetes and type2diabetes in Lin-cang Va people.Method The SUM04gene163A/G polymorphism was detected by PCR-RFLP method in235people with prediabetes,96people with type2diabetes and104normal control people. The genotypes and allele frequencies distributions were compared between cases and controls, at the same time, the related characteristics of cases and controls were compared. Results (1) The levels of SBP,DBP,AST and BUN in type2diabetes cases were higher than normal controls; the levels of AS,TC and the percentage of hypertention in diabetes cases were higher than prediabetes cases and the HDL-C in diabetes is lower than prediabetes cases; the levels SBP,BUN and the percentage of hypertention in prediabetes were higher than normal controls(P<0.05).(2) No statistic differences were observed in genotype distributions and allele frequencies of the SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism among prediabetes cases, type2diabetes cases and normal controls(P>0.05).(3) No statistic differences were observed in the related clinical characteristics among the different genetype carriers of prediabetes cases, type2diabetes cases and normal controls(P>0.05).(4)Logistic regression analysis indicated that age may associate with the onset of prediabetes, DBP and have a sweet tooth may associate with the onset of type2diabetes.Conclusion The SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism may not associate with prediabetes and type2diabetes in the Va people. Age was hazardous factor of prediabetes, DBP and have a sweet tooth were hazardous factors of type2diabetes in the Va people. Part2A study on the association of the SUMO4gene163A/G polymophism with prediabetes and type2diabetes in Lin-cang Lahu peopleObjective To investigate the association of SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism with prediabetes and type2diabetes in Lin-cang Lahu people.Method The SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism was detected by PCR-RFLP method in225people with prediabetes,54people with type2diabetes and234normal control people. The genotypes and allele frequencies distributions were compared between cases and controls, at the same time, the related characteristics of cases and controls were compared. Results (1) The levels of FPG,2hPG,ALT,AST,UREA,CREA,UA,TC, TG and LDL-C in type2diabetes cases were higher than normal controls; the levels of FPG,2hPG,ALT,CREA and LDL-C in diabetes cases were higher than prediabetes cases; the levels of SBP,DBP,FPG,2hPG,ALT,AST,UREA,CREA, UA,TC,TG and LDL-C in prediabetes were higher than normal controls(P<0.05).(2) No statistic differences were observed in genotype distributions and allele frequencies of the SUM04gene163A/G polymorphism among prediabetes cases, type2diabetes cases and normal controls(P>0.05).(3) In normal controls, the level of SBP, DBP, TG and LDL-C in AA genotype were lower than others; the level of2hPG in AA genotype was higher than others. In prediabetes cases, the level of UA was lower than others. No statistic differences were observed in the related clinical characteristics among the different genetype carriers of type2diabetes(P>0.05).(4) Logistic regression analysis indicate that in the Lahu people, drink, have a sweet tooth and HDL-C may associate with the onset of prediabetes, drink may associate with the onset of type2diabetes.Conclusion The SUM04gene163A/G polymorphism may not associate with prediabetes and type2diabetes in the Lahu people. Drink and have a sweet tooth were hazardous factors of prediabetes, HDL-C was protective factor of prediabetes; drink was hazardous factor of type2diabetes in the Lahu people. Part3The racial diversity with the SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism among Han, Va and Lahu peopleObjective To investigate the distribution and association of SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism among the Han, Va and Lahu people.Method Accord to our previous research, the genotype frequency and allele frequency of the SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism and the related characteristics of cases and normal controls were compared among334Han people (102normal controls and232DM patients),200Va people (96normal controls and104DM patients) and288Lahu people (54normal controls and234DM patients). Results (1) In DM patients, the levels of SBP, DBP, ALT, TC, TG and LDL-C in Va people were lower than Han people; the levels of AST and HDL-C in Va people were higher than Han people; the levels of SBP, DBP and ALT in Lahu people were lower than Han people; the levels of AST, TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C in Lahu people were higher than Han people; the levels of TA, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C in Lahu people were higher than Va people.(2) There were statistic differences in genotype frequencies and allele frequencies between Han and Va people. There were statistic differences in genotype frequencies and allele frequencies between Han and Lahu people. There were no statistic differences in genotype frequencies and allele frequencies between Va and Lahu people.Conclution There may exist racial diversity with SUMO4gene163A/G polymorphism among the Han, Va and Lahu people, the distributions of genotype frequencies and allele frequencies were different. |
