[Objeetive]To investigate the possibilable relationship between the High-Risk human papillomavirus infection load, HPV-E6expression, VEGF expression, and neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect in cervical cancer patients.[Methods]60cervical cancer patients in Yunnan Province Cancer Hospital from June2010to December2011were treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy, whose HPV infection load was detected by the use of Hc-II HPV assay; HPV-E6and VEGF expression was detected by the immunohistochemistry Max Vision method respectively; VEGF levels in the serum was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). To analyze the relationship between HR-HPV infection rate, HR-HPV loading, HPV-E6, VEGF expression of cervical tissue, VEGF levels in the serum, neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect and pathological features.[Results]1. The HR-HPV infection rate of cervical cancer patients is95%, HR-HPV infection rate have no correlation with pathological type, FIGO stage and neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect.2. The HR-HPV infection load of cervical squamous carcinoma patients were significantly higher than that in adenocarcinoma patients. The HR-HPV infection load in stage Ⅲ and stage Ⅳ patients were higher than that in stage Ⅰ and stage Ⅱ patients (P<0.05). 3. HPV-E6and VEGF expression of the cervical cancer tissues have no correlation with pathological type, FIGO stage and neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect.4. There were no significant difference between the expression of VEGF in the serum and pathological type, FIGO stage(P>0.05). VEGF level in the serum have a negative correlation with the neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect(P<0.05).5. There was a positive correlation between the HR-HPV infection load and VEGF level in the serum.[Conclusion]1. HR-HPV infection is relate with cervical cancer occurrence.2. VEGF level in the serum of cervical cancer patients have negative relationship with the neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect. VEGF level in the serum have predictable value to the neoadjuvant chemotherapy effect.3. HR-HPV infection load may have a correlationship with the angiogenesis of cervical cancer, HR-HPV infection may play a important role in cervical cancer occurrence and development by angiogenesis.
