Objective:Through the establishment of diabetes mellitus (DM) and implant titanium alloy rod prosthesis and implant an animal model establishment of DM after animal model, measuring rats blood sugar levels and biomechanical strength and hard tissue slice histological observation of bone around prosthesis,clear relationship between the change of blood glucose and osseointegration biomechanical strength,specifically blood glucose change effects on metabolism of bone around prosthesis and the role of insulin to improve osseointegration between prosthesis and bone. Study on related factors affecting the DM population of prosthesis osseointegration, clinical prosthetic replacement in patients with DM strategies with a view to provide experimental basis.Methods:2months-old health male SD rats, weight220-250g,a total of90.45elected separately only for the study of diabetes mellitus influence on stability of implant prosthesis implantation and new.1, Diabetes study on effects for the stability of the implant prosthesis,45only healthy adult male SD rats bilateral tibial proximal implant prosthesis,8weeks after implant randomized group of normal control group, diabetes and insulin therapy in group15. Diabetes insulin treatment groups and diabetes groups of30intraperitoneal injection of1%STZ liquid (65mg/kg) induced by diabetes. Insulin treatment group received a insulin therapy,8weeks after each rat will be put to death, take double side were performed respectively the tibia bone biomechanical and hard biopsy detection.2, Diabetes study on the stability of new implants,45only healthy adult male SD rats at random into normal control group, diabetes group and insulin group every15 only, diabetes group and insulin therapy only30intraperitoneal injection of1%STZ liquid (65mg/kg) induced establish diabetes model, made mode4weeks after rats bilateral tibial proximal implant prosthesis. Insulin treatment group received insulin therapy,8weeks after each rat will be put to death, take double side were performed respectively the tibia bone biomechanical and hard biopsy detection.Results:1, Rats in general:to eight weeks watch over each rat, DM rats, the blood sugar level increased significantly after injection STZ, weight loss obvious, showing statistically significant difference (p<0.01).2, The biomechanical testing results:prosthesis for implantation study on the stability of diabetes mellitus and diabetes in a new study on the implantation of prosthesis stability, diabetes group than in the insulin therapy and normal group launch the maximum load reduced significantly.Showing statistically significant difference (p<0.01).3,Results of hard tissue slicing:prosthesis for implantation study on the stability of diabetes mellitus and diabetes in a new study on the implantation of prosthesis stability.Diabetes group local bone tissue absorption, cancellous bone prosthesis surface area grow around the bread thin bone plate, and have more direct contact with the bone marrow cavity,Trabecular Bone around the sparse thin; Insulin treatment plant surface thicker bread around the prosthesis, less direct contact with the bone marrow cavity, Trabecular Bone rich. Trabecular Bone of the tibia in normal control group rats rich, thick bone cortex, vertical bone trabeculae arranged,a small horizontal arrangement trabecular bone. Showing statistically significant difference(p<0.01).Conclusion:Results of this study show that, DM rats in prosthesis around the body bone mineral density significantly lower,tibial cortical bone becomes thin, some absorption, increased bone marrow cavity width, cancellous bone texture sparse, thin. May result in diabetic model rats reduced bone mass, bone biomechanics changes, implant osseointegration in one of the reasons for the reduction of. Insulin therapy with prosthesis or the new implant prosthesis, may improve bone mass and biomechanical strength around it, increase the prosthesis osseointegration.
