Objective: To observe the correlation between severity of coronary arterystenosis and left ventricle function evaluation with640-slice dynamic volumeCT.Methods:118patients with suspected coronary heart disease(CHD)underwent640-slice dynamic volume CT angiography and cardiacfunctional analysis,45cases underwent ultrasound and16cases underwentCAG, Special software was employed for calculating left ventricularend-diastolic volume (EDV), end-systolic volume (ESV), ejection fraction(EF), myocardial mass (MM), cardiac output (CO) and stroke volume (SV).The patients were divided into different groups respectively based on thedisease degrees, the number of diseased vessels and Gensini's score. Thecorrelation between severity of coronary artery stenosis and left ventriclefunction were analyzed statistically. Results: The results of DVCT and CAG were not significantly differentfor the evaluation of the stenosis of coronary artery, and no significantdifferences between the results of DVCT and ultrasound for the evaluation ofleft ventricle function. The correlation coefficient between disease degrees ofleft coronary artery and the function parameters of left ventricle were:0.209,0.445,-0.492,0.293,0.235,-0.154,-0.078. The correlation coefficientbetween the number of diseased vessels and the function parameters of leftventricle were:0.209,0.498,-0.565,0.264,0.261,-0.278,-0.168. Thecorrelation coefficient between Gensini's score and the function parameters ofleft ventricle were:0.200,0.434,-0.479,0.249,0.246,-0.167,-0.106. Conclusion: The severity of coronary artery stenosis and left ventriclefunction can be accurately evaluated by one-stop-shop exam with640-slicedynamic volume CT system. More stenotic branches and severer stenosis incoronary artery often are associated with higher Gensini's score and worse leftventricular function. ESV and EF are sensitive parameters for evaluation leftventricular function for the patients of CHD.Objective: To study the influence of left anterior descending artery (LAD)stenosis on left ventricular global and regional ejection fraction with640-slicedynamic volume CT.Methods:110patients with suspected coronary heart disease underwent640-slice dynamic volume CT angiography and cardiac functional analysis, using special software calculation of ejection fraction (EF) and regionalejection fraction (REF). The patients were divided into four groups accordingto the severity of LAD disease, and LAD stenosis>50%is defined as thegroup of coronary heart disease. The correlation between LAD stenosis andEF of left ventricle and the difference between normal control group andcoronary heart disease group were analyzed statistically. Results: The correlation coefficient between the severity of LAD stenosisand EF was-0.426(P<0.01). S1, S5, S7, S8, S9, S13, S14were respectivelysignificantly different between normal control group and coronary heartdisease group. Conclusion: The severity of coronary artery stenosis and left ventricle EFwas significantly negative correlation; More than moderate stenosis of LAD,the REF of the supply blood segments determined by LAD decreasedsignificantly.
