Objective Investigate5cross border Burmese population who lived temporarily in Jiegao District of Ruili to understand their demographic information, the current situation of cross border, HIV related risk behaviors, HIV infection situation and the prevention AIDS service. This study can provide some evidence to future establish comprehensive intervention measures for the cross border Burmese.Methods The information collected by questionair and HIV antibodies tset for all respondents. Use simple random sampling and cluster sampling to extract floating drug users, sex workers, long truk drivers, Loading bays porter and shopkeeper. The data input in Epidata and the quality was checked by double entering. The effective data was analyzed with SPSS.Results (1)The total number of respondents are748,62.6%are male, the average age was25.0±10.2(M±Q),72.8%are Bamar people, the main education level were elementary school(36.0%)and middle school(33.6%).50.4%are unmarried.(2) Most repondents come from Myanmar area which near to jiegao. such as Muse.36.9%went to jiegao for jobs illegally and92.6%only worked in jiegao after cross border.(3) Among748subjects, there were120people that used heroin,32people used ephedrine,25people used opium,5people used methamphetamine (ice) and2people used Ketamine.133people are IDU and34of them have shared needle or injection water or container with others last month, in whom3people only shared equipments with Chinese IDUs.29people only shared equipments with Myanmar IDUs.2people shared equipments with IDUs both from Myanmar and China last month. the number of shared equipments partners number focus on1~3in last month.(4) There are380subjects have sexual activities in last month, among whom42.4%people have commercial sexual partners.24.5%people have sexual Partners both from Myanmar and China. Most people have1~3sex partners in last month.64.2%didn't use condom in last month.(5) There are32subjects never accepted prevent service HIV correlated, small number of respondents accepted STD examination and treatment(3.1%), the propaganda of methadone maintains treatment (0.1%), HIV antiviral therapy (0.05%), the knowledge of new drugs (0%. Different subjects prefer different contents and methods of HIV prevention measures.(6)7.8%subjects were HIV positive. Analyzing748subjects with some HIV infected factors by Binary logistic found that subjects with higher education level (OR=0.673) with less chance to infect HIV. The subjects knew use condom correctly can prevent HIV (OR=0.305) with less chance to infect HIV. share drug diluent with others are easier to get HIV rather than who didn't share (OR=6.296)Conclusion The HIV infection is very serious in5cross border Burmese population live at Jiegao district of Ruili. HIV related risk behaviors prevail among respondents. It is an important factor of HIV cross border transmission. For these reasons establish a demonstration plot for cross border Burmese in Jiegao is very necessary.
