Purpose: Explore the effect of three kinds of laboratory spectral compositions light (full-spectrum light, fluorescent light, sunlight) on the emmetropization of the infant rhesus monkeys' eyes.Method:8age of3-4months of infant rhesus monkeys were randomly assigned to three groups:full-spectrum light group (n=6), the fluorescent light group (n=6) and the natural light group (n=4). Repeat to measure biological parameters of the eye (the axial length, anterior chamber depth, vitreous cavity length, corneal curvature. refractive error) before and2,4,6,8,12weeks after exposure,in order to observe the trend of each parameter. The data of each time point using repeated measurements analysis of variance, analysis of the trend of the difference between the two groups and each group, p<0.05as statistically significant.Result:In addition to the individual time points, all the parameters between the three groups and each group trends were not statistically different. In the eighth week, there was significant differences in the vitreous cavity length between the group of full-spectrum light group and the fluorescent light group of rhesus monkeys; In addition, before and after exposure. In the eighth week, the rate of crystal thickness of the three groups of rhesus monkeys decline slowed down, but no significant difference existed among the groups (P>0.05), followed by the rate of decline increased. In the second week and twelfth weeks, there was a slight downward in central corneal thickness of the fluorescent light group, and continued to increase after the second week; after twelfth week, there was no statistical analysis up to now. In the fourth week, There was a slight increase in corneal curvature of the fluorescent light group, and then continued to decline, and there was a significantly increase in twelfth weeks. In eighth weeks, there was a significantly increase in full spectrum light group of corneal curvature, and then continued to decline.Conclusion:Full-spectrum light, fluorescent light, natural light as the lighting of three different laboratory light conditions had no significant effect on the emmetropization of infant rhesus monkeys.
