Clinical Efficacy Study Of Tongluodingxuan Decoction For The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylosis Of Vertebral Artery Type

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of "TongLuoDingXuan" decoction on Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery type and discuss it's effective mechanism.Methods:40cases of Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery type were chosen and randomly divided into two groups (trail group40cases were treated with "TongLuoDingXuan" decoction, control group20cases were treated with the "Xuesaitong" dropping pill),through the quantitative grade of clinical symptoms and signs in both pre-treatment and post-treatment of the two groups, and use this grade as critical index to make clinical observation of clinical effect of the two groups simultaneously. Results:"TongLuoDingXuan" decoction and "Xuesaitong" dropping pill also possessed benign effect to pain, their eminent rates were95.00%and90.00%, and had no distinct difference by treating statistically, in addition to be compared with pre-treatment,headache, vertigo,neck roration test of the two groups of themselves all had prominent difference (P<0.05),Before therapy, the level of headache in trail group and control group was4.7000±1.49032and4.6000±1.46539,after therapy it was0.8000±1.00525and0.2000±0.61559.there was no significant difference in two groups before therapy (P>0.05),while a distinct difference existed in two groups after therapy(P<0.05); Before therapy the level of vertigo in trail group and control group was4.3000±1.17429and4.2000±0.89443, after therapy it was0.4000±0.82078and1.0000±1.02598. there was no significant difference in two groups before therapy (P>0.05), while a distinct difference existed in two groups after therapy(P<0.05); Before therapy,the level of neck roration test in trail group and control group was4.5000±2.66557and4.5000±2.66557,after therapy it was0.6000±1.84676and2.4000±3.01575.there was no significant difference in two groups before therapy (p>0.05),while a distinct difference existed in two groups after therapy(P<0.05).Conclusions:①"TongLuoDingXuan" decoction and "Xuesaitong" dropping pill both possessed benign effect to clinic, and also can roundly remission the clinical symptoms and signs of patients, improve the life and work quality of patients.②"TongLuoDingXuan" decoction is superior to "Xuesaitong" dropping pill in improving vertigo,neck rotation test.③"Xuesaitong" dropping pill is superior to "TongLuoDingXuan" decoction in headache.
